What data do we collect when using our offer?

Server logs
No personal data is required to use our website. However, our web server still collects the data that your Internet browser communicates to us (including the name of the page or file accessed, date and time, Internet browser used, the site from which you have reached us (referer), screen resolution and operating system). We process this data based on our legitimate interest, namely so that we can find errors and improve our service. This data is kept for a maximum of 1 year. It is not possible to draw conclusions about you from this data. We also store your IP address for a maximum of three months so that we can respond to judicial or official inquiries (e.g. fraudulent requests under a false identity). After that, your IP address will be shortened so that conclusions about your person are no longer possible. The legal basis for the processing is our legal obligation to provide information (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in protecting ourselves and users from abusive behavior and in clarifying this behavior (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We only transmit the IP address at the request of a court or authority.

Contact

If you contact us by phone, e-mail or via the form on our website, we store all data provided by you to process your request. The processing of your data takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures more specifically to fulfil a contractual relationship or it is based on our legitimate interest in processing the inquiry response. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless we have your consent or this disclosure is necessary for the processing of your request. We process your data as long as this is necessary for the operation of the request and in the event of a follow-up request for one year after the last contact with you.

Google reCAPTCHA

We use the “Google reCAPTCHA” service of Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to secure our contact form. The legal basis for the use is our legitimate interest in preventing the forwarding of spam and protecting ourselves from webbots (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). In the course of using reCAPTCHA, data is transmitted to Google, which Google then uses to determine whether the visitor is a human or a (spam) bot. You can find out which data is collected by Google and what this data is used for on https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de-AT. You can read the terms of service for Google’s services and products at https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de-AT.
We would like to point out that we have concluded standard contractual clauses (https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/DE/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32021D0914&from=DE) with Google that guarantee an adequate level of data protection. Nevertheless, it cannot be ruled out that the data sent to the USA are currently not subject to an adequate level of protection under EU data protection law and that the US government in particular may gain access to this data.

When do we share data?

Your personal data will be used exclusively by us and will not be passed on to third parties without your consent, a legal obligation or a judicial or official decision.

If we use third parties (“processors”) to carry out orders (e.g. our IT service providers and web analysis providers), we ensure that they use your data exclusively within the framework of the agreement concluded with them, our orders and in compliance with data protection regulations.

Place of data processing

The web servers we use are located within the European Union.

Your rights

You have the right to request information from us about all data concerning you. If you believe that we are processing your data wrongly or that this data is not or no longer correct, you can request to correct or delete this data or restrict the processing of your data (this means that we may only store your data until clarification, but may not continue to use it, unless we have your consent or are otherwise legally entitled to do so, for example, to exercise our own rights against you). Furthermore, you can object to data processing if you believe that we may not or no longer use the data collected about you. For all this, please contact office@omnia-detektei.at.

If you revoke your consent to the processing of your data or raise an objection, this will result in us deleting your data, unless we are legally obliged to store it or are entitled to do so for compelling reasons worthy of protection. If you revoke your consent, this does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out up to this point. You also have the right to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

If you believe that your data is being used contrary to legal requirements, please contact us. In most cases, we can clarify your concerns in a direct conversation. You can also file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at, telephone: +43 1 521 52-25 69, e-mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at).
